Trolling
Experience the Baltic sea and the Gotland coastline from a modern professionally equipped sport fishing boat is both relaxing and exciting! The boat is Elise a 8.5 meter (28 feet) Minor 25WR, built in Finland by Sarin boating in 2004.
The fishing from a boat is of course different from the shore based wader fishery. You get assistance in rigging all the rods and baits, you relax, wait, and fight any hooked up fish… Elise can also take you seal watching or diving.

The skipper
The skipper is Tommy Andersson and lives in Norrlanda on the eastern part of the island. Tommy has spent his entire life on the sea, on and below the surface, with a history as a naval officer. Tommy has all the requiredinsurances and certificates to safely and legally take passengers in Sweden, plus a PADI open water diver license.

The fishing
You will do trolling with Trout (Salmo trutta) and salmon (Salmo Salar) as your main target species, but the skipper can quickly change the style of fishing to target for example cod instead. This fishing can be done by everybody, young and old, woman or man. Elise and Tommy can take care of maximum 6 people at the time.

The season
Elise is in the water between approx. April 1:st to November 15:th. Remember that fishing from a boat is more weather dependent than fishing from the shore.
Elise does not go out in windspeeds higher than 10 meter per second.
