Gotska Sandön
is an island and a national park in the Baltic about 25 nautical miles north of Gotland. Here all fishing is prohibited, commercial and recreational. But as a way of carefully developing this very exclusive destination FishYourDream.com is making explorational fishing trips to the island. Local authorities has given permits to fish two sets of dates in march and april 2008.

Release of a trout

Catch and release
In the permit was included conditions; we were to release all fish, take DNA samples and report back data of the fish caught. Which we did...

Silver torpedoes
All trout caught was silver coloured and in perfect condition. The fishing experience combined with the absolute unique environment, very little touched by human hands, was nothing but wonderful. The island has a long history and many stories and legends to go with dinner after fishing...

FishYourDream.com
hopes to offer this destination to clients as a way to preserve, and spread information about one of the worlds last truly pristine areas.

DVD
A film production team shot parts of our adventures and will produce a DVD for all you fishing freaks out there. Parts of the material will be avaliable on FishYourDream.com

Tight lines!
