Gotlands black gold

Few things are more important on Gotland than the crayfishing. Family feuds, poching, and secrecy comes with it... Try the traditional style crayfishing including dinner in the tranquillity of the dark august night. We place cages, and then sit down to have food (including crayfish of course) on the bank. This is one of the oldest swedish traditions. Maybe we go there by Land Rover? This activity is mainly for bigger groups but can of course also be arranged for smaller parties.

The season

Crayfishing is done through august and half the first half of september.
